One of the homeowners' primary design requests was to incorporate a hearth into the kitchen. In response, Aparna designed a sophisticated stone-clad mantel that elegantly frames the expansive 48” Wolf range. The backsplash features Calacatta picket tiling installed horizontally, giving the space a timeless focal point.

The existing dining room, with its original doorway located near one corner of the room, had no real connection to the kitchen. Our team created a new, wide custom archway with elegant curved wains paneling centered in the space which offers a classic entrance and better fits the scale of the kitchen.

Aparna used satin brass crimped woven wire mesh grills in the upper cabinets, and farmhouse sinks in both the main and island sink locations. The wire mesh matches the soft bronze tone of the faucetry and hardware throughout. White, wood-look, but durable porcelain floor tile in a Chevron pattern anchors the room with a subtle pattern.
