Serene Bathroom Retreat with a Grand View Overlooking Manhattan

Project Scope: New Construction – Two Kitchens, Dining Room built-ins and 4 Bathrooms (including the Primary Bath). Here we focus on the Primary Bathroom.

Design Details: This luxury primary bath features a soft palette, and clean lines for a serene escape. The design allows the NYC view to be enjoyed not only when entering the room, but especially while enjoying a relaxing soak in the tub. An oversized shower, separate toilet room and a beverage bar complete the amenities.

The Back Story: Perched on the New Jersey cliffs with sweeping NYC views, this space with its tall windows, was perfectly positioned to become a spa-like retreat. The homeowners requested abundant and convenient his and her storage, all of the comforts of an upscale primary bathroom, and of course, we wanted to do it all without obstructing the view.

A sleek white soaking tub anchors the space before the large windows, set on a chic mosaic tile floor in soft, muted tones. The design highlights clean lines, abundant natural light, and a serene, sophisticated aesthetic.

This sophisticated bathroom features a generous double vanity with elegant brass fixtures and hardware, and a luxurious quartz countertop. A large lighted mirror is mounted above, and is flanked by tall his and hers storage cabinets, creating a stylish and highly functional space.

Just outside the bathroom, adjacent to the walk-in closet, a bar with a refrigerator, sink and countertop coffee service offers convenient refreshment for a morning wake-up or an evening wind-down.
