Project Scope: Primary Bedroom Suite Remodel And Home Office

Design Details: Custom built-in cabinetry and millwork throughout includes personalized desks and shelving in the home office, and a built-in dresser, an entertainment center and closets in the primary suite.

The Back Story:  Over six years, the Ulrich team transformed nearly every room in this Wyckoff home from builder-grade to custom-crafted timeless sophistication—earning praise as the “most warm and inviting home” on the 2013 Women’s Club House Tour.  Here we share some of the rooms we worked on outside of the kitchen.

A custom, built-in home theater and a comfortable seating nook in front of the windows add to the relaxing amenities of the new primary bedroom. A coffered tray ceiling was also added for acoustics and to enhance the sophisticated feel of the space.

Tucked into its own private nook, the comfortable yet unobtrusive tub deck offers safe, easy access to the soaking tub—an attractive, age-friendly design. It is complemented by cleanly styled wainscoting at the base and convenient towel storage on nearby open shelving.
